Fado

As a photographer, I am drawn to the emotional depth and raw beauty of Fado, a traditional Portuguese musical genre known for its melancholic and expressive nature. Fado has a special place for me, as I used to listen to it when growing up, being the grandson of a couple of Portuguese immigrants.

Fado music often explores themes of love, loss, and the struggles of everyday life, with lyrics that evoke a sense of saudade (a deep emotional state of longing). I strive to showcase the passion and intensity of Fado performers as they pour their hearts into each song, creating a powerful and unforgettable experience for listeners.
